For the second edition of our Select Cuts series, we asked Globular to pick some of his favourites from our back catalogue.

This is what he had to say:

"The process of picking my top 10 tunes from Dubmission's incredible back catalogue very quickly brought home just how much I owe this label and all the artists it has supported and curated over the years. Each of these tracks means a huge amount to me and has heavily influenced the direction of my own musical endeavours.

The pure sub and mad stereo snare on Tom Cosm's Pitch Black remix was like nothing I'd heard at the time. Smoke Signals is where I discovered Akasha Experience (and then Quanta) and I'll never forget hearing their unique take on techy squelching subby dub for the first time. International Observer came much later for me, but it was love at first listen, moving quickly on to serious obsession. Pitch Black, Simon Posford (Walter Ego..), Bombay Dub Orchestra.. the stuff of legends.

Huge thanks to Dubmission for reaching out. Loadsa love. I hope you enjoy the selection!"
